For those that use a single line for the jib sheets and want to make it easier to swap head sails the method is at:

works very well. I did this last season and and it made it quite a bit easier to change headsails compared to when I was using a cow hitch on the sheets. For the smaller loop I used a piece of an old piece of 3 strand anchor rode to get it a little thicker to be sure it didn't pull through.

That's pretty trick.
That should go into that "Why didn't I Think of That?" Book on sailing.
I'll have to try that. thanxWhat shall we call this knot? The 'Shawskiknotski Bend'?
skip.
That is neat. Iv'e used a variation of that on Koinoinas jib since I bought her but yours is a neater, more foolproof and easier to take apart version. Also works well on the flag pole for attaching the flag without the brass hooks. I have an old Snipe mast for a flagpole, finished bright and the brass hooks would damage the varnish. When I re-flag, I'll try this exaxt knot.
