Hi all!
I posted the following in the Lounge area and this is a minor update. "I bought a couple of LED lights for the cabin from Walmart for only $4.00 for the pair (including batteries!). The neat thing about them is they also have a 3v receptacle for external power. My thought was to purchase 2 more and hook them up in series from the battery I use for the trolling motor. Stuck 'em to the cabin walls with double-back foam tape." The lights work quite nicely and provide much illumination considering they use only 3 LEDs. The double-stick tape didn't work. Found the lights below in the morning. Any suggestions on how to hang 'em would be appreciated.

I've used Gorilla glue with success, but you need a way to hold the light up until the glue dries/cures.
Try Marine Goop.
I've had really good luck with industrial strength velcro. I have some battery dome lights and little led puck lights mounted in my 23...they stick great and you can un-velcro 'em to change batteries.

Bob23... great idea. I'll go with the Velcro because, as you point out, it'll provide easy access to the AA batteries. Ill prep the area first to give the Velcro adhesive a shot at adhering.

I used the heavy duty velcro and it worked great. Been on for over a week and seems pretty secure. Have to move on to re-wiring the electrical system of the CP16. I'm planning on using the starter battery (eventually to be replaced with a deep cycle) exclusively for the 35lb. trolling motor and a lawn tractor battery for nav and cabin lights. Just bought a new anchor light $$$ to replace the one that came damaged with the boat. Evidently these things are at risk when the mast is down. Plan to wrap the new light with foam pipe insulation to prevent future damage.
