In spite of a good fog bank rolling in from the South, I just had to get the mighty Beagle II out on the Bay to make sure the new BeagleBag (StackPack) worked correctly- which it did! Had a fine sail in ten knots of breeze and brought her back to the dock.  A fine day, indeed.

Great sail, Peter. To bad I know for a fact you were sitting on your back porch drinking- in the morning, no less! Yeah, folks: I'm afraid our PeterG may have borrowed those pictures from last year. JK, of course. Does my jealously show?

Well Bob, I know for a fact that you were working today when there was 20 knots of wind on the Bay, and rumor has it that you were in no shape to go sailing, anyway, having indulged in too much tequila last night while celebrating Cinco de Mayo!! Therefore, I did not invite you out today, as you would probably have fallen into the drink. It was a truly great, though photograpically undocumented, rail down romp in the whitecaps. Crossed tacks with two other sailboats between BB and BI markers. An empty bay will only last for another couple weeks- too bad!!  Any tentative date yet on the RonDayVoo?

I could not have gone today...work gets in the way sometimes. RonDayVoo? Maybe that last weekend in July- 30, 31st?
I think my problems is not too much tequila but not quite enough!
Doesn't look like "Koinonia" will be any time soon Just starting on teak refinishing project and I've scrapped most of my other items on the winter "to do" list. Hopefully by M-day weekend but no promises...I'll just stow away aboard Beagle 2!
Going to pick up the new sails from Eggers tomorrow morning...can't wait. Are you around this weekend or next week? Good opportunity to celebrate new sails with pizza and chianti!
Ciao!
