Hey Bob,
I emailed the guy your name and address and he'll be in NJ this weekend to go sailing with you. Said he'd love to go to the Tices RDV with you. Just helping fellow sailors............. Pedro

Yes, my old home town does have its colorful nautical types. Do any of you guys from that part of the world ever meet Capt Mitch, Capt Tait, or Charlie Littlegrease? Tait and Mitch are licensed skippers; Tait owns that Sparkman and Stephens yawl Sinisterre that's tied up at Davis Islands YC.  I wrote it up in an article for Good Old Boat.

Littlegrease was my introduction to ComPacs.  He owned one of the first 16s back in the 70s and his exploits on Tampa Bay were legendary.

This dude reminds me of an old sailing buddy of mine, Red Jib.  I never did learn his real name. But the last I heard of him he was delivering furniture in the Caribbean with his trimaran.
