Title: It's true, Pooka is for sale.
Post by: bmiller on March 04, 2011, 08:43:43 AM
I listed her in the classifieds but that tends to get lost.

What a wonderful boat she has been for us.

You guys are great to discuss these boats with. I'm not leaving, just going in a new direction.

Is it OK for a grown man to ball over a boat?

Bill:
When the new owner was getting ready to tow my old Seapearl away, I was unprepared for the emotional side of it. I actually got a bit teary-eyed. Imagine what a wreck I'd be if I ever parted from my 23!

(it's gonna be ok, Bill)

It would take a lot of the sting away if you bought it Bob.

Step up, help a brother out!

It would be so selfish of me not to buy it. How would I live with myself!

All I need to do is get you aboard for cocktails after a nice long run some afternoon. Maybe throw a steak on the grill, let you stretch out AND walk upright down below.
Yep all I need is one afternoon.

It's a good thing your'e in Colorado and I'm in NJ. I was on PeterG's 27 last summer; never sailed on it, just a dockside tour. Very roomy and it did allow me to walk upright like a 21st century homo sapein. I love my 23 but sometimes I wish I were only36" tall.
