Title: MILLERS DOCKSIDE AND EAGLE GRILL. BOCA
Post by: Bob23 on January 08, 2011, 11:45:53 AM
If any of you fine Florida Compac gents find your self at either of the above dining establishments, ask for Joanna for your server. This is my daughter who has recently relocated from the fine state of NJ to Punta Gorda. If you feel so inclined to despense some friendly harrassment because she is my daughter, do so in good taste. Here is a photo of her as helmsperson about my cp 23, "Koinonia":

Bob -

It's in Boca Grande, in the Boca Grande Marina, about  a mile north of the Boca Grand Pass (entrance to Charlotte Harbor from the gulf). It's a nice place. If she actually lives in Punta Gorda she has a 45 minute to 1 hour commute. I'll make you a bet she's much warmer than you and is not shoveling snow.

Given the weather prediction for this weekend, I should be on my way right now.:)

She looks like a fine young lady and we will treat her with the utmost respect, tipping her lavishly if the opportunity presents itself.  However, we will pull no punches if you happen to be mentioned in the conversation.:)

Yeah, she has a long commute. But she's determined to make a go of it.
We are getting 3 to 5 inches of the white stuff right now...she'll trade sunblock for snow shovels anytime.
I should warn you: She's a bit like her old man. Much more witty with a very similiar sense of humor. And she always appreciates the cornyest of puns.
