I'm wondering about my jib sheet lines. Do I run them inside my shroud lines or around the outside ? It seems the jib clew wants to ride along the the shroud line.
So I guess I'll answer this question myself, since I've now sailed my Legacy twice. lol today light winds and it seems the jib sheet lines worked better on the inside of the mast shrouds. Whereas, on my first sail, the winds were in the 10 to 12 mph and the jib sheet lines worked better outside of the mast shrouds.
Never thought about it before but whats to prevent you (or me for that matter) from changing the routing of the sheets to suit the wind conditions? On my 23, I believe the factory recommends routing between the upper and lower shrouds but I run mine outside.
Sounds like you are going to have a great time with the Legacy. By the way, what is her name?

Bob23 Yikes, I haven't named her yet. I'm bad, but I've been thinking on a name. Soon I'll have a name and some pic's. Take care.
SWW- where are the tracks for your jibsheets- that pretty much determines where I run mine ( on the outside)

No tracks with pulleys on this Legacy, just fixed clam cleats on roof that the jib sheet lines run thru.

No Jib tracks on the Legacy, just clam cleats mounted on the roof that the jib sheet lines run thru
