Steve,

I think he ran off and hid after posting that lovely "Pink Thing" photo of me.  Actually we have emailed and facebooked a few times since getting back.  He is waiting on everyones pic's so he can work on the DVD.  I cheated and just posted all our pic's on our Photobucket site so he could pick and choose whatever he wanted.  Keep trying, he is probably out sailing.

kicknbug-  Send them to my home address with the columbus.rr.com in the address.  My work may have blocked 'em if you sent them there.
Never got anything?

My apologies for not "getting in touch" before now... between business and technological challenges (computer stupid), I've been remiss.  Debbie and I had a GREAT time with all of you, and look forward to many more visits.  Debbie, the more tech-savy partner, promises me she will send our pictures to "Salty" very soon.  Thanks Again for a wonderful event!

All-

Thank you all for sending all the pics!  Right now I'm waiting on pics from Rich/Sailen69-have emailed him a couple of times now.  If I don't hear anything from him in 2 weeks or so, I'll start putting the "best" pics together and burn DVD's for the attendees as well as Gerry/Rich Hutchins.

Been meaning to tell the CLR story but alas life is in the way right now.

Ahoy rendezvous sailors:

I'll be making the DVD likely early next week (sorry things have picked up a bit for me at work and play) and should have them on your doorstep by next weekend!

I have everyone's address except Rich (he hasn't replied to email).  So rich if you're out there email me your address soon.

Well the making of the DVD has been slower than expected, I've had to deal with several family issues out of state lately.

But I burned the first copy last night and tested it...all is well.

I will be shipping them likely this coming Friday.  So expect them next week...and again sorry for the delay but this will be worth the wait, I promise that!

Thanks so much for taking on this project.  I'm sure that you showed discretion by not including any incriminating or embarrassing (i.e. "the pink thing") pictures in the final product.

Thanks again,

The Greenes

ah...er..ah...Well, any decent and audience capturing video deserves a certain amount highlights from memorable experiences.  Those experiences may or may include Pink Thingtm images,  as disturbing and uninviting as they are, as well as plenty of action shots, both sailing and otherwise.

However, you will be happy to hear that the version Hutchins will receive will be void of Ping Thingtm  images, thumbnails, copyrights, or other associated references herein.  This is due to the existing copyright I hold on Pink Thingtm, having bore the hardship and eye damage taking the shot to makes such a claim,  which copyright shall not be allowed in public places. Without royalties, of course.

Just be glad I don't post 'em on Utube :)

Next time, go with a blue one, eh?

Mike:
The CLR dvd arrived yesterday. Thanks so much! We got our first snow today, only about an inch but very slippery and made for a not much fun day at work.
What a great remedy for the cold: watching all those Compacs, the warm weather and faces of those whom I have hassled here at the site! Fantastic and what a great sound track. Makes we wanna mix up a Dark and Stormy right now although for the winter, I may switch to Grog!
Thanks again, Mike. Very nice of you to send out the DVD. I know you said you don't want to be reimbursed for postage, so I'll give you a positive karma, if I can figure out how!

Mike C.
What software did you use to burn the DVD?  We are trying to make some DVD backups of some of Brenda's childhood 8 mm films for her sister.  I burned them using the software that came with our little camcorder (ArcSoft) and Windows Media Player.  Both of them burn the DVD, but our DVD player won't play them.  We can watch them on the laptop, so we know they are burning ok.  I know we have a really cheap DVD player which probably doesn't support these formats, but it would play the DVD you sent us.

By the way, Brenda looked really cute in her little dress going off to her first day of school.  Those old 8 mm films are pretty neat.
