I am having trouble with being redirected to a Go Daddy site when I log into the CPYOA site. I know of at least one other member having the same issue. Are others having this problem as well?
I found I can get in by going to the cpyoa.geekworkhosting.com link first.
I'm having the same problem. I've had to skip the front page and go into the index page to get in.
If you're trying to go to www.com-pacyachtowners.com, a quick "whois" search reveals that the registration for that domain name expired on March 2, and it hasn't been renewed. I hope CaptK has noticed the expiration of the domain.

Me too. skip.
There are two things we could do. An admin could send an email to everyone directing them to this URL. I found an email from Larry Bracken on the yahoo groups forum pointing here. I'm not sure if that could easily be done in PHP-BB and it would have to be an email not a message on the BB. At this point we've probably lost more than 90% or participants at least for the moment.
Also I sent private mail to Kurt (aka CapnK) suggesting that he send me his postal address and I'll send him a check for a 10 year renewal. A domain name is not expensive. I suggested that last time this happenned using the last known email I had for him but he didn't take me up on it or the email got blocked.

I would also be willing to "own" the url if CapnK is a bit swamped to manage it. But it can be difficult to switch ownership of URLs.
I'm also willing to chip in on the cost of the URL fee.

Transfer of authority of a domain name isn't really that hard. Getting a hold of Kurt at times is.
A transfer isn't necessary. This is just a matter of periodically paying the bill. It varies from $19/yr to $100/10yr so its not a lot of money. I sent a private message to Kurt offering (again) for fund a renewal. If GoDaddy doesn't offer multiyear discounts, then the domain name can be transferred and renewed somewhere else.

I have no Go Daddy pop up problems and I'm dumb enough to not understand the URL or what ever problem.
