Title: BIMINI FOR SALE
Post by: DaveE on February 08, 2010, 09:07:31 PM
LAST YEAR I BOUGHT MY CP16, A NICE BIMINI, FOR WHICH I HAVE NO USE, CAME WITH THE BOAT.  IT IS BLUE AND TOGETHER WITH THE METAL SUPPORTS LOOKS NEW, SOME STAINING ON THE UNDERSIDE.  WILL SELL FOR HALF THE HUTCHINS  PRICE HUTCHINS WANTS FOR A NEW ONE.  THE ONLY PROBLEM IS SHIPPING, HOW THE HELL DO YOU PRICE AND SHIP SOMETHING SHAPED LIKE A GIANT U.
ANYWAY, IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED, AND HAS AN OFFER LET ME KNOW.

If you can find someone local who want to buy it you can skip the shipping part. Where abouts are you located?

Where are you?  And give me a bottom line?  I don't know how much Hutchins get for theirs.

To find out what the Bimini cost would be from a boat dealer, try this web site, it would be cheaper from the Compac company itself. Call Jerry at the company.

IN THEIR 2006 SPARE PARTS LIST THE BIMINI SELLS FOR 517.00.  HALF OF THAT IS GOOD ENOUGH.  THE PROBLEM FOR YOU SOUTHERNERS, (WHERE YOU NEED A BIMINI MOST) IS THAT I LIVE IN WESTERN PA, MORE SPECIFICALLY VOLANT, PA 16156

Yeah, I really need one and that is a wonderful price, but if I told the Admiral I was going to drive to PA for a bimini, (see my post about how I came by my 16), I really would be singlehanding!

TO JOYCE  MARIE OWNER
IF YOU ARE INTERESTED, THERE MUST BE SOME WAY WE CAN GET THIS BIMINI TO YOU.  I THINK THAT THE PEOPLE WHO DO EBAY KNOW THIS KIND OF STUFF.  OR MAYBE SOMEONE ELSE WHO IS READING THIS POST WOULD KNOW AN ECONOMICAL WAY OF SENDING A BIG WRAPPED "U" THRU THE MAIL.
OR, AS I HAVE SAID IN ANOTHER POST ON THIS SITE, I'M SICK OF HIP HI SNOW, MAYBE MY ADMIRAL AND I CAN BRING THE BIMINI DOWN AND CAMP IN YOUR BACK YARD FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE WINTER.(JUST KIDDING)

LOL Dave, I know what you mean about the snow and getting away - but it wouldn't do you a whole lot of good.  We have been at freezing or below since the day after Thanksgiving with the exception of about 4 days.  We have snow on the ground now and have had more snow here in the past 2 weeks than we've had in the past 10 years.  If you get the chance to sell that bimini, by all means do so, but I'm trying to sell my MFG Sidewinder 16 to get the money for things for the Joyce Marie.  Like the bimini, and a ladder, and a motor.  I just haven't finalized that deal yet.  If I do real soon I'll contact you again.
