a merry christmas to everyone here. lets see, what am i thankful for. the love of my family for sure, reasonably good health no doubt, friends not many but good ones (including the ones i have made here), living in a relatively free society, the ability to retire. you know what i really dont have anything to "bitch" about. oh yes did i forget to mention a nice little cp16 to take me on the "journey".

To all on here and sailors everywhere, may you have warmth enough to keep your water soft, wind enough to keep your sails full and time enough to enjoy both of the above!  May the New Year bring you as much sailing as you desire, and safety at sea and on land.

a funny christmas scene you might all enjoy. my wife and i were taking the grandaughter on a little car trip to look at local christmas lights. we rounded a corner and a few houses down was the most lit up place since the "griswalds". it was blinding, in a word overdone. next door was a simple string of white lights which read "ditto"  with an arrow.    merry christmas

Matt,

Thank you, your picture made my day.  Merry Christmas to you, your family, and all the ships at sea.
