Buttoned up SunShower for the winter this weekend.   Now the wait until spring begins.  I ordered a chart of Charlotte Harbor/Pine Island Sound.  Maybe I'll have to hear to Florida on Spring Break!

When the sun heats up the lake area on January 1, like it does every year, you'll be itching to hit the big end of the lake.

The earlyest I ever put my boat in the water was 18-April. And pull her 15-November.

  about the same sailing plan up here in southern NH.yacht club docks go in last Saturday in April,come out end of October.the ice is out of the lake by middle of April.being retired i sailed a lot on the lake.learned a bit about lake sailing with the suncat.

 if you get to Charlotte harbor,check out fort desoto boat ramp and campground.there is a compac dealer in the Charlotte harbor area.
