Title: Bilge drain on a CP16
Post by: me262 on October 01, 2009, 09:36:25 AM
I pressure washed my CP16 and got a lot of water in the bilge. Took out the wet/dry vac and made short order of the clean up. Then I thought......how about drilling a hole in the transome at the same level as the bilge and install a drain plug? Those can be bought at Academy for about $5.00 and are easy to install. Haven't done it yet...thought I'd bounce it off y'all and see if anyone else has done something similiar.

me262, I WOULDNT BE DRILLING HOLES IN THE BOTTOM UNLESS ABSOLUTLY NECESSARY. JUST SPONGE AND DRY YOU WILL BE A LOT HAPPIER, TRUST ME......PHIL
