I saw this bugger Sunday at the marina. He swam right on by, passing within about 10 feet of my transom while I was docked working on the boat. He was actually one of three that could be seen at that moment...he was just a lot closer than the other two. Not the kind of hazard I'm used to in the marina. My last boat was docked on the ICW and sailed mostly coastal. Oh well, so much for stopping for a refreshing dip for this sailor!
WOW! The only thing we have up here is powerboat operators that seem to leave thier brains at home while boating. Fortunately, you can seem 'em coming from a long way off. Oh, we have snapping turtles and small shaks in the bay here (Barnegat), but no 'gators. Are they really as mean as we here? Let's make a deal...I'll trade you our governor but ALL your 'gators. Anything to get this guy out of here...he's gonna costs us a forture! Good thing ai already own the boat...I might have to live on it!
