Title: Another Adoption in NC
Post by: jhatch on April 05, 2008, 09:37:07 PM
My new '83 19 is in the driveway waiting for this impestuous spring to settle down.
It is either too cold & wet or too windy when its warm - just can't get it right. Anyway hull #136 is now in Winston-Salem, NC. I keep going out there looking it over but there really isn't anything to fix - I just want to go sailing. With a fresh red bottom coat, I hope she'll be floating next weekend.

My good friend Ted Blake ("Ted&Patty" or "Ole Ted") has owned over thirty different Com-Pacs and he inspired me to switch from my Aquarius 21(now for sale" to my Com-Pac 19.
For those of you who know Ted, he has been hospitalized since mid-January. He seems to be on the mend now and hopefully will be home soon. I 'm counting on getting him out on his "new" CP16 this summer. He could use some good energy from the group.

I'm happy to be an official part of the family now -
