I was really sad to see it go, just wanted to say thank you to everyone on this forum that was willing to help and answer my questions as they came up. Our Compac has gone to a good home, I told the new owner about this board so hopefully he will stop by and visit.

Yes I am upset to see my Compac go, I had everything fixed on it, had the boat set up exactly the way I wanted it and really was happy with how it sailed. I now own a Montgomery 17 that is more of a project boat but I will get everything fixed in the next year or so.
My wife wanted more room then the Compac was able to provide. I would have liked to have been able to get a Compac 19, but my 4 cylinder tow vehicle is not going to handle that. I am just a little depressed that my Compac 16 is gone, I really liked that boat.
You can sell your com-pac, but we can tell in your heart you are still part of the family. HAPPY SAILING (whatever you sail) BILL
