Title: WINTER UPGRADES
Post by: Bob23 on December 26, 2007, 03:41:35 AM
I was compiling a list of upgrades, maintainence and repairs for the winter so I'll be looking to pick some brains here on the site. My list includes:
Replacing the doors on the shelving with sliding doors- tired of having to remove/replace them
Hanging locker forward of the bulkhead, starboard side
  Lazy jacks
T-track and padeye for whisker pole.
  Ida rudder
  Tiller extension
  Normal re-vaarnishing, cleaning, etc.
Whatever else I can think of to do before spring.

I typically shoot high with my list and as launch date approaches, strike off what's really not necessary so I can spend more time sailing!

Bob,

Looks like an honorable list.  Good luck with the upgrades and have fun.

Thanks, Paul. If I get ambitious and a bit more technologically un-challenged, I may photo the progress.
Enjoy the rest of the year. I'm gonna try to spend part of the last day rowing in the Barnegat Bay; how fitting.
It's really amazing what therapy takes place with just a few hours on the water.
