OH!!! My bad.... I went and checked out becoming a Captain online, and I want to go for it. Getting 90 days on the water will be the hard part unless I get a small boat again and float it around on my little lake here. There are many courses available online, and the cost isn't bad either.

Congrats, Cap'n!!
Seaschool.com is a good place to look if your'e interested in a Captain's License. That's where I plan to go. They are approved by the USCG to give the exam also.

Helmsman Bob23 reporting for duty, sir. Sorry for my absense, sir, I was ashore with a bit too much rum and couldn't make it onto the site for some reason.
As January threatens to come to an end, I'm planning to row around Cape Horn this Saturday. More soon; maybe photos

It seems I've been promoted to Captain! Aye, sir.
The row around the Horn didn't take place as planned. Maybe this month.

No power, no head, no problem! The vessel of which I am under command sits in port (my back yard) and the crew threatens mutiny because of my rigorous mainainence schedule. Why, I'd keel haul 'em but the keel is clean and dry! Not much of a threat!
(With great power comes great responsibility!)
