Hey great site. Ive recently joined your site and have been sailing a CP 16 for 3.5 years now up in the great lakes. Im in the Coast Guard and currently do most of my sailing in Saginaw Bay just in from Lake Huron. Anyone sail a CP in the area?
I have a CP19 a bit south of you, near Beaver Dam. I'll be sailing the great lakes this summer, I would like to sail to the Apostle Islands at least once this year.

Welcome Triad! Thank you for your service to our country and welcome to the best Com-Pac sailing site!

The ship looks nice, even out of the water. Is that snow I see in the picture? We've had no snow down here in southern NJ yet but plenty of wind the last day or so.

(ps. If I could figure out how to post pictures here, I'd do so, but am a bit technologically challenged.)
Bob,
What do you mean no snow? We had almost two inches last week or so and I have the pictures to prove it. :)

Hey, email me your pic's and I can put them up for you, I can make an avatar for you as well. That's if you want your mug posted up. ;)

We've had over 25 inches so far in mid-Wisconsin...... But I bought a new snowblower for the tractor so I kinda like it!! For now anyway.....
Well, yes you are right. But 2 inches is but a dusting, my friend. For those of you who don't know, Kevin and I live about a mile from each other. And yes, his picture is not doctored up; we did indeed have a 2 inch dust dumped on us.
Spring is coming but the first day of winter is this Saturday! Long way to go. I'm already planning next summers voyages, that is if I don't get too busy at work!!

Rick,
I must admit that your CP16 Xmas ornament looks great. Very creative use of a fine boat in the winter.
