Title: New Com-Pac owner
Post by: fiddlerami on July 11, 2007, 09:56:35 AM
Just purchased a 1983 CP-16 and am in the process of getting her up to my standards before launch (cleanup, polish, wax, proper equipment, etc.)  My wife & I retired in '05 & moved from Michigan to Florida.  I have been a sailboat(s) owner since about 1956 or so, most recently sailing a Sabre 30 on Lake Huron.  Budget dictated the sale of the 30 footer, but the sailing bug still exists so...  I have enjoyed visiting this forum and many ideas have been generated by the posts & pictures.  Looking forward to our first sail in our yet un-named "mini."

Fiddlerami:
Welcome! I love the 16's although I am a 23 owner. I'm sure you will have many hours of fun! I've thought of buying a 16 for use as my "daysailer". Hmm....wonder if the admiral would allow it?
Being a sailer since 56, you must have seen some interesting boats and therefore have some interesting stories. Feel free to share! Bob in "Koinonia"
