Hello to everyone, I recently purchased a ComPac SunDay 17 and trailer from someone who purchased it on the East Coast two years ago and towed it out here! I am 70, and it's my first sailboat. A steep learning curve; two weeks in now, and I'm getting the feel for her. If there are any other members in this part of the world, it would be great to connect. I have decided to call her Selkie (Celtic mythology, if you are curious). I sail on the Willamette River and the Columbia River. You can't get lost, but the tides and currents make life interesting.
