With the able-bodied assistance of a fellow Com Pac owner Bob (Eclipse), I put the boat into the waters of the Intercoastal Waterway in Nokomis FL. Brand new dock in 3 feet of water at low tide. No water or electric but a good deal all around 1.5 miles from our place. After setting 4 lines, we requested a bridge opening at the Albee Road Bridge, motored up to the Venice Inlet and set sail in the Gulf of Mexico. 10+ mph wind and clear blue sky and water. A top 10 day. Sailed for 3+ hours and headed back to the slip. New to me was tying up to accommodate the tides, while keeping the boat off the dock. 4 lines on 4 posts did the trick. I checked the lines this morning at low tide and all was well. I am a happy sailor.... Sail on AL
