Title: Electrical supplier for ComPac boats
Post by: soulsail on September 11, 2025, 09:27:45 PM
I'm need to add electrical package to Sunday Cat. Does anyone know who was the original supplier for the Electrical Kit for these boats? Or if there is a post about how to do this using assembled parts?

If you're starting from scratch, I'd go a different route than what came from the factory.  I replaced my fuse panel with a breaker panel from Blue Sea Systems.

It's much nicer than dealing with fuses, and the switches are better quality.  Also, not to hack on Com-Pac quality, but the electrical left a bit to be desired as far as wire (not tined) and how the negatives were terminated.  I pretty much re-wired my Eclipse for less than $200, and that includes replacing all the incandescent except the red/green nav lite with LED.
