We're looking forward to another great week of sailing, eating, boasting, and comeraderie. If the rain holds off long enough tomorrow, I'll pull the boat and ready her for the trip. Already have a pile of stuff in the garage.

I'm done messing with outboards. We will be attending this years CLR boatless. Steve, thanks for putting up Joanie, but with the grandson coming along, we'll be getting a hotel room.

if youre not here who will i have to make fun of. seriously, i wish you would reconsider. we should be able to set you up with a motor. i have a transom mounted trolling motor that works pretty good and even though the cruise and carry has been sitting under my work bench for years it stared on the third pull. i can also check with a couple of friends and see what they have. i think that matt has one come to thin of it

CLR attendees, it is with regret that we will not be attending this years CLR. I went to urgent care today and found out the injury to my thumb while sailing with Chris back in april, needs surgery. It was broken and dislocated. It healed wrong with a chip out of place. Also this past Monday i was carrying the outboard onto the boat when i mistepped and injured my left calf. I go in for an ultra sound tomorrow.

This sailing business might be dangerous for you Carl.  Outboards have the tendency to be a PITA and carrying them is no picnic.  We will miss seeing you at CLR.  I am packed and I am ready.  Should arrive on Monday before noon.  We will toast you with an adult beverage wishing you a speedy recovery.

Thanks Al. We're bummed. We were to leave this morning for our daughter's in VA where we would spend the night before leaving for CLR with our grandson. He was looking foward to a week of sailing and swimming with his "papa". From CLR we were to head north and visit and our daughters with a family bbq next Saturday. I had planned on a bike ride with the grandkids, and golfing with the son in laws. Now I'm confined to the couch with the power out from a storm. Thankfully I have picked up a couple of new books to occupy my time.

Hope you all have nice weather for the week.
