It looks like the newer Com-Pac models use a rubrail with a stainless trim piece screwed into the outside. The newer 23's have it. The Eclipse has it.
Wonder if this could be retrofitted onto an older model like a 19? I'd imagine there's no difference in the underlying hull/deck joint. Curious what the differences are.

Coincidentally I contacted Matt in the parts department a couple of weeks ago about buying some rub rail for my 27 (identical to what's used on the 19, I believe). His response was surprisingly curt - "we've sold all our inventory so can't help you." I followed up to ask if they could refer me to their original source. Again a brief response - "no, but Taco Marine might have something similar."
The tone was so unlike any of my interactions with Matt or Gerry in the past. I can only imagine that Gerry's death was so devastating to the family that they don't have the stomach for a drawn-out business transition.
In terms of my supposed local CP dealer (Sailboat Company in Richlands NC), the legendary CP guru Keith Scott has passed on and the web site is down. His children have a Facebook page and appear to be running a business under the same name, but there's no sign that it's a serious resource for CP owners.
This whole thing makes me sad.

I feel exactly the same way. It's almost like we've jumped timelines into some weird alternate universe.
I did manage to get a handful of information about rigging specs and suppliers from Matt at Com-Pac before they closed.
