Title: NAV LIGHTS FOR A 16
Post by: Urban Hermit on January 24, 2025, 07:53:10 AM
Just acquired a clean 83 16 and am installing nav lights.  Haven't found an attractive way to run lights across the underside of the coach room to the tabernacle reinforcement area.  At present I've got some Home Depot plastic wire race screwed to the strip under the starboard hatch guide; have not been able to get any stickum to hold on the textured surface. (Breaker panel is to come, screwed to a plywood pad starboard of the cabin entry.)

Congratulations on the 16.  Post a few pictures when you can of what you are talking about.

1/30/25:  Still a work in progress.  Red/green mounted aft of the aft portholes; removable stern light bracketed on the top of the rudder; wires run inside the mast for sailing stern/anchor; working out a half-attractive way or running wiring across the cabin ceiling.  Panel MIS (missing in shipping).  Scammed on combination stern/anchor light so cheap I should have known better; McGivering a mount for same, another just ordered from Defender.  Photos when done.

Sorry -- don't know how to find the links for the pics. I'm from the manual typewriter, rotary dial phone, and manual pencil sharpener era.
