You could have stayed in Illinois for that weather.

No kidding. Our old neighborhood has received less than 2" of snow all year.
I am enjoying it though. Yesterday I sat out back next to a fire for hours. Went for a walk on fresh, undisturbed snow. The only one out. It's beginning to warm up. I tried making a snowman, still a bit too cold for packing.
42° at this writing and the snow is melting. Space heaters in 2 of the boats to remove any moisture. We still don't have power at the association docks so no heater in the Orion. The snowman out front is kin to the leaning tower of Pisa. Town harbor is ice bound, but our creek is open and the diehard fishermen are out in force today.
Wow, Carl! Wild about the snow and cold temps out your way! The pics really put it all in perspective! Fortunately, little snow here, for which I'm grateful as I do not relish the idea of shoveling snow. However, doing my farm chores in subzero temps was no picnic — so glad we've warmed up, at last, and are out of the deep freeze. Stay warm!
I'm still in NW Illinois. I'll trade a few inches of snow for the really cold temps we have had here, too cold to snow.
