Arrived at our daughter's in northern IL on Tuesday. The whole drive up the temps were in the mid 50s. This morning we awoke to 6° and snow. The snow is a welcome sight, the temps? It does give me the chance to wear my leather jacket that is too warm for NC winters.
Growing up south of Tampa Bay, I didn't see snow until I was 19. I didn't appreciate just how cold 6 degrees can be until I spent some time working out in it. And add a little wind in the mix... brrrrrr.
We have a low here (Columbia SC area) of 29 this morning. No snow forecasted for Christmas but some beautiful sunny days all week.
Before the ice totally sets in, I launch my CP16 on Lake Carroll in this weather. Near your Daughters Crazy Carl. Merry Christmas to all.
We looked at moving to Lake Carrol back in 2003.
We moved there 2005. Still there.
