In addition to the devastation of the FL Panhandle, Helene's storm surge has flooded much of the west coast of Florida. I grew up south of Tampa Bay and many of my friends and family's homes have been completely flooded.
And even as far north as Virginia, thousands are without power. Here at Lake Murray SC, (Columbia area), we have many downed trees and have been without power since late last night.
Here is hoping all who were in Helene's path faired as well as possible.
