Has anyone fabricated a bug net for their companionway on their 23? If so, wondering if you'd share your approach -- did you make it yourself? Order it? I don't believe Com-Pac sells them, but perhaps I'm mistaken. Please enlighten me! Thanks!
On my 19 I just have a large piece of no-see-um screen and lay over the companionway. On windy nights I'll lay the extra anchor chain on it to keep it in place. Or, and this works surprisingly well, I use it instead of a bedsheet.
I made a frame that matched the the dimensions of the top drop board and put a screen in it. You would still have to jam a pool noodle in the area between the top of the drop board and the sliding hatch to seal it off. I have an insert screen for my forward hatch and all the side ports have screens. Have a pic somewhere will post it when I find it.
One of these came with my CP23. It is a bit pricey but works well.

Thank you so much, Carl, brackish, and TopsailB for your recommendations! Brackish, I've got the inserts, too, for the portholes and the forward hatch from Com-Pac -- they work great!
