Title: Tie down straps
Post by: waterwheels on August 18, 2024, 05:36:04 PM
Where would be the preferred location for tie down straps from stern of Eclipse to trailer?

Thanks Don

Compac doesn't use any when delivering an eclipse, so even though I always used a strap on my 23 I haven't used anything on my eclipse and haven't ever had a problem.

I put my stern tie downs around the back end of the boom gallows.  The rubber hook on most standard tie downs fits around the post perfectly.

I run a large ratchet strap from crossbar at the back of the trailer up and over the lower gudgeon and back to the crossbar as suggested by ComPac
