Hello-
I would like to install an AC and would love suggestions. I will do a standard raw water cooled installation. I've heard mention of doing it in the V berth or below the starboard bunk just forward of the head. Has anyone here done this? I've not found current info by searching. Thank you!
On my previous 27 the unit itself was mounted on the port side near the stern aft of the engine with the water pump just aft of the engine. The air handler fan and ducking was in the vberth with the air return vent in the very center of the boat. Mine worked excellent and I think it was a Cruiseair 7500 btu with heat.
