I'm considering buying a CP Suncat 17 2006. I've sailed a San Juan 23 for a number of years, but am looking for specific advice for boat inspection. I've heard there might be issues related to gelcoat cracking around the mast due to stress from older standing rigging. Hoping that you all can help me understand things to look for.
