i would like to add a deck light to the mast – has anyone had experience with this – any suggestions to help begin this project

This month`s Boat Works Magazine has an article on making a deck light with a remote control. The author wanted to be able to turn it as he was rowing out to his anchorage.

The steaming light has been adequate for work on the foredeck. It is brighter than you might think when it is really dark out.
