Title: Fuel Line Location to the Outboard
Post by: Gary on July 30, 2022, 11:40:51 AM
Does anyone have any ideas on running the fuel line from the fuel compartment underneath the cockpit seat directly below the tiller, to the outboard motor?  I want to put a small fuel container under the seat.  I have a 2007 Sun Cat.

My fuel line goes from the 3 gallon tank and out the fuel compartment through the scupper.  Obviously the rubber flap is not able to close because the fuel hose runs through it but it has not been a problem so far.  The fuel primer bulb is installed on the fuel line near the engine.

You disconnect at the tank.  The fuel line has connectors at the engine side and the fuel tank side that are spring loaded check valves that prevent fuel from coming out of the hose when the connectors are removed from the tank or the engine.
