Hi all you 19ers. Looking at my forward hatch from the side, it is clear that the forward most edge touches the deck leaving more than a 1/4? gap at the aft (hinged) edge. Seems to me the bottom of the hatch should be parallel to the deck, so I suspect the hinges are bent/wrong..or there should be some type of gasket or something on the underside of the hatch cover that would fill the void and correct the fit.. I?m curious how yours fit and if you have a gasket there.
No gastket on ours, and I believe it sits parallel with the deck.
