Most all of our cooking/baking utensils are still in storage 1100 miles away so last week I suggested we go out to eat. However, I couldn't find any restaurants that would be open for dinner. So to save my dumb arse, I said I would make the dinner. Fillets on the grill, baked potato, corn, fresh rolls, and Joanie baked an apple pie. Then Joanie was contacted by the mayor. She knows we are new to Oriental and that we would be alone, so she graciously invited us to her home for Thanksgiving dinner.
