Title: Legacy owners - does a Rocna-type anchor fit the bow roller?
Post by: Oceanairre on October 10, 2021, 08:15:54 PM
I?ve got a new Legacy coming for Texas coastal bay sailing, anchoring, gunkholing?..I?m thinking about a 13lb Rocna, given shifting winds, tides, current. A small Fortress type as a secondary. I would appreciate benefiting from your experiences. TIA!

Since you haven't gotten any responses I can tell you that a Rocna 13lb did not work on my Eclipse.  It fit fine on the bow roller, but did not clear the drum of the CDI roller furler.  I ended up having to go with a 4.4lb claw anchor.  I've got the rocna in the locker under the vberth if I ever need the holding power.

I use a Danforth anchor on my Legacy. It works great and fits on the roller
