Title: The Next Generation of Compac O Nauts
Post by: crazycarl on August 15, 2021, 08:39:56 PM
Nine months ago our youngest daughter commissioned for another compac o naut.  With a displacement of 9lbs. 1oz. and and l.o.a. of 21", Theodore Jackson was launched into this world at 4:28pm yesterday.  A real cutie for sure, but a bit leaky.

Congratulations! I'm sure Theodore has no idea what he's getting himself into!

Congratulations for sure!! based on displacement and OAL that is a very decent Compac O Naut.

Yep those fresh launches tend to be a little leaky for a while until everything swells into equilibrium locking all the seams.;)

At about the same time I received news of a launching in San Diego, a grand niece.  San Diego, that might mean a future trip to personally provide early childhood sailing lessons for Lilly Jane.

Congratulations Carl & Joanie!   Better plan to acquire a bigger boat so you can carry the additional crew.

Thanks Chris!
As for the bigger boat, we bought a Seidelman 295.  Once the CG documentation goes through and we're back from our trip, I'll be sailing her home from Topping VA.
