Howdy all you fine folks (and Bob23 too). I miss my sailing days more than you can imagine. Sunsets with no land in sight, perfect beam reaches, fresh caught fish and most importantly the amazing people you meet.
My beautiful wife Brenda and I just celebrated our 39th anniversary. Wow, she is a saint! We live in an RV resort near Punta Gorda, Florida and travel for 3 months a year June-August. We are just finishing up a 7000 mile trip to visit family and friends.
Miss you all. Fair winds and gentle dockings folks.
Mike
Hi Mike, good to hear from you and Brenda, glad you are doing well. Stop by if your land cruiser ever meanders in my direction, we're in Tupelo, halfway between Memphis and Birmingham off I22.
And no, Bob23 has not mellowed with age just like PBR does not. Why just the other day I think he was complaining about some guy from Wisconsin that stiffed him on the CPYOA initiation extortion, err fee.
Be safe down there. The 19 is tucked away in storage in Cable, Wisconsin. Was hoping to sail out of Bayfield last week but the weather didn't cooperate.

Nice to hear from you guys!
How is the land sailing going? Any good stories to tell? Docking some of those RVs can be as nerve racking as a sailboat. Not that I've ever had any misfortunes when it came to docking, or departing, or launching, or retrieving, or at the start of a race that isn't really a race.
A couple questions. How much time do you lose lowering the mast to get under the overpasses? Does your GPS take this in account when figuring your ETA? Since your inside with the windows up and air on, how do you know when to reef?
Mike- So good to hear from you! Really it is!! Well, it's sorta good..in a way.
I was just going to get in touch about your bounced membership check from 15 years ago! Hated to bring it up in person and this idea of fleeing from my cousins Vito, Guido and Tito for 3 months every years isn't going to work out well for you.
But hey, I'm an ok guy so in celebration of your 39th, I'm waiving all penalties and interest if you'll just post of photo of you with a PBR in your hand. Bottle preferred but a can will do too!!
Hope you guys are fine...sure do miss you! My side still hurts from laughing on the dock at CLR all those years ago! Stop in NJ sometime...we'll go out for real pizza! Come in the summer, and we'll sail too!!

They put PBR in a bottle?
Yup, it comes in almost anything they can find to sell it! You can use this package as a spare boom!
....problem for Bob would be he would need to shorten sail regularly!
