Title: Our PC moveS to Brooklyn
Post by: Finbar Beagle on September 26, 2020, 01:21:44 PM
We just sold our Picnic Cat ?Cork Cat?.  My admiral was possibly correct when she stated my behind could only be in one boat at a time.

Cork Cat did all we asked and was great.  I am happy she is going to a couple who will sail her more.  For me, I learned much: I can sail a cat rig; we do need a place for a potty-so I am told by the Admiral, and that Hutchins quality reputation is well earned.

Now, I shall age with my 19, and start saving for my retirement boat, a Suncat.

I hope Cork will understand Brooklynese.

The cycle of sail.

Congrats on the sale Brian. You're back in the good graces of the Admiral, until she checks your search history and finds "Compac Suncat" 100 times.

I am lucky, she already agrees with the Suncat choice.  We made decision not to do full restoration on our 19, but will focus maintenance and a few upgrades (lead halyards to cockpit, replace motor mount).

It would not be terrible if our 19 is our last boat.
