Title: adding Pics to messages
Post by: jimyoung on April 15, 2007, 04:18:17 PM
How do I add a picture to a post?  I am doing several "custom" modifications to my 27" and thought some might like to see some of the results.

I have tried using the icon but only get ..(//)

To add an image to your post, the first thing you need is to make sure your image is contained in a server that is "on-line" most of the time.  I generally post my image first in our gallery, which stays on-line.  Once the image is posted, just right-click and copy it's "url" address.  Be sure you get the whole address, it may be more than one line.  Then back out and go to the forum and click on the image icon.  You will get the "img /img" tags.  Place your cursor inbetween the inside brackets.  Then click on preview below and you should see your image.  If not you did something wrong! :(

Good sailing!
