It would be a shame to see the 19 in New Jersey, posted in classified, scraped. If no one wants to bring it back to original sailing form it might make a very low risk trawler or pilot house conversion project. For some it might remove any hesitation to take a saw to a boat in fine sailing shape. As for a trawler I don't recall reading of a 19 conversion. The hull form of the 16 and 23 with their softer bilges may be a bit more suited to power but I think the 19 would make a fun boat as well.
