Title: Compac 16 for sale
Post by: Mas on May 19, 2018, 11:03:53 AM
For those of you looking spotted this in the Craiglist for Richmond, Va.

https://richmond.craigslist.org/boa/d/16-ft-sailboat-compac/6590509446.html

She is a curious example of a 16. Seems to have the Mk1 interior, Mk2 bow sprit, spreaders, and headsail tracks (though the current owner does have their cars mounted backwards), and a hatch which is like a Mk3 but not sure if added. She does also appear to have a stern lazarette rather than the slats of the Mk3 with one visible on pic 9 and a corner kinda visible in 19. She also was either just purchased or just had the registration renewed as the decal indicates that. (you flipping that 16 already Wayne?) Gelcoat seems to be in great shape, never bottom painted thus only trailer sailed, and overall looks nice. She also appears to have electrical as spotted bow, mast, stern light, cabin front electrical plug, plus has an electric motor. She also seems to come with a Tohatsu 2.5. Is a little curious that there is a bilge pump included. We never had a need for one on either of the 16's we have owned. Hey worth a call!

Not mine.  I'm still planning the rebuild.  Mast step is first on list.
