I feel like a deserter.
After selling Windrunner I did look at four ComPac 33/35's. Jester which sold from the Chesapeake. One in Bayfield WI, Hull #2, in very good shape. Another in Miami FL which is well equipped, but out of my league. Yet another ComPac-33 in Lower Broad Creek in the Neuse that is in poor repair but unfortunately not for sale!? (or sail)
Just became the very proud owner of a Pacific Seacraft Crealock 34'.

It is a very clean boat that will be our last one, hopefully lasting the next ten years or so. I am excited to get her out and see what we can do on the Pamlico and off shore from Norfolk to Wilmington!!!!
I am still up for cruising or sailing with anyone anytime. Give me a few weeks to get her up to snuff and figure out the systems.
Smooth Sailin'

Hey Charlie,
Congratulations on your boat! Interesting after looking far and wide, you find a boat in your own backyard! Can't wait to see her. Pacific Seacraft! Awesome! Hope to see you on the water soon! Heck, I wanna go on your boat!
Terry
Congrats Charlie! She's a beauty and with your skills she'll be Bristol in no time. A co-worker's father has a 34 and loves it. I may have drooled during one of our conversations about sailing from Annapolis to Bermuda.
Awesome!!! The Crealock 34 and the Dana 24 are two of my favorite boats.

Charlie-- Congrats! What a great boat. Can't wait to see her. Glad it worked out!! Happy Sailing Jim
Charlie, congratulations on the PS 34. I have a friend who has one in Port Townsend WA, they are a sweet sailing boat. The admiral and I have been looking at larger boats as we think about retirement and moving to the Puget Sound area, and Pacific Seacrafts are right at the top of our list. Looked at an older PS 37 in Anacortes last fall, and we are very tempted by that one. Island Packet is the other boat that piques our interest.....must be because they are a Bob Johnson design like our CP27's. We love Paradiso for sailing on our lake in Oregon, and in Puget Sound and the San Juan Islands of WA, and the Gulf Islands of BC, but we'd like to do some longer runs like circumnavigating Vancouver Island or even a trip down the west coast to the Sea of Cortez, and the CP27 just isn't the boat for that.
Fair Winds!

Thank you-all for your encouragement. We should close the deal late next week. I will post when we have a chance to get her underway.
I have always looked at Pacific Seacraft as solid boats, perhaps a little too much draft, but pretty bullet proof. Unfortunately mostly way out of my price range. However you never know until you make an offer.
The PO of this boat is unique. Note the tiller and the mizzen. It should give me plenty of stuff to tweak underway.
Thanks again you-all! It has been a pleasure and very informative reading your posts.

Certainly a lot more things to fiddle with for a single-hander like you C.
I can see we're going to have to start an Alumni page for all you PSC owners.
That's it! Alumni Discussions!

Congrats Charlie, that looks like one sweet boat. I think I'm close to making a move, but most likely it will be to the dark side. Just getting too old to single hand and no crew around. Those small Ranger Tugs are kinda tugging on me.:)
Charlie, what a beautiful gal you have picked. She will certainly let you go to places you may have only dreamed of. I look forward to seeing you anchored out in Banks Channel behind Wrightsville Beach. I love the tiller boat, autopilots just became a whole lot cheaper....
