So the blue boot stripe measure exactly 1 7/8" wide and sections need to be replaced - about 6 feet out of about 50 feet.

So one question is when custom ordering this - should i assume that it wasnt a standard 2 " width and order exactly 1 7/8? Kind of like 2x4s are not 2x4 in measurement

If they cant make that width then I should just replace it all? Its going in the water today and I figured patching would be ok - but not all of it in the water- the stern squats.

Any suggestions for where to get it? Maybe I should just wait until I haul it next spring....

If you do decide to remove it you may want to mark where it was so you can easily replace it.

thanks I didnt think of that. Turns out the bottom paint I used to patch the bottom areas that needed it matches the stripe perfectly so I just touched up the stripe with that! Even ran out right as I finished - just had a quart for the patch up.
