Hey all you gnarly wharf rats: A few of us are thinking of overnighting at Tice's this weekend. Weather looks nice, boat traffic is down and the water is still clear and warm. So, who'll throw their hat in with us??
I'm in! It's the last weekend I have to overnight.
Cool! I think Dennis is in, too. Aha! The deep draft crew! are you thinking Friday to Saturday or Saturday to Sunday? I'm not sure yet....I might just do both!
Right now thinking maybe Friday alone, sail back Saturday to pick up Lesa. She doesn't want to do 2 nights. So Friday is still up in the air, might not have time to gear up for a Friday night. :/
Gotcha. Saturday's weather forecast is improving!
Friday is a no go, just too much to get together after work. Planning on a Saturday morning departure, sail for a bit then end up at Tices for the overnight.
I'm a maybe for Saturday Night.
Same here, Kev. I'd like to sail on Saturday and end up over at TS. Hope you can make it, Larry. And I think Dennis is in!
Of course when I plan to do an overnight at Tices the wind is forecasted to blow all night. :/

Pay no heed to that...been there, done that! No worries, mate. Your boat will be fine!
Forecast seems to have improved some. We'll have nice winds today with some NE winds tonight which means a comfy ride at anchor. Rain forecast has disappeared. Yay!! I plan to cast my lines around 10 or 11, sail north a bit and end up at TS around 3 ish for a swim and a beer!
Ellen finally returned form Ausrin TX (FEMA hurricane month+ deployment), and you guessed it, I am in trouble for condition of house. Something about the beagle dog making a nest.form my clothes left on floor. I responded is was good multi-use recycling and allowed me more time to sail.
Yes, that was like dropping 8lb danforth anchor on big toe. I should learn to say "yes ma'am" more often.
I only have time to stand off Silver Bay, and not able to meet the southern bay squadron today.
Need to bring beagle to vet late afternoon...something about cleaning ears his ears daily, which is hard to do from boat....
THE WIND!!!! ....and the wet/cold. Great crazy sail, but rough at anchor. We decided to turn tail and head for home at 5:30.

Comfortable seats, Lesa at helm, and rail in water, it does look like great sail....
I'm glad I got that rainbow out of my head...it was starting to bother me!
Twas a great time sailing and Kev's new boat is no slouch! He sails her like he's owned her for years!1
Rainbow, I thought that was halo, and always there
QuoteI'm glad I got that rainbow out of my head...
That's not you're head, that's was the pot of Gold!
If that's the pot of gold, I'm more broke than I thought. Halo? Not very likely, Brain.
How about Leprecompac?
TG
They say the pot of gold is at the end of the rainbow.
That would mean its either in Bobs Boat or in his Head.
My guess is its in the boat. I'm not sure how much is in his head, though.
