I think you have a problem with the software - there is no way I can log in. I can't use the name I registered with, JohnS, because it is reserving that for me when I get my verification email, which never arrives. Catch 22 springs to mind!

Outside of the usual glitches that may occur in the ether world, the only reason I can see for the email not arriving is if your address doesn't work.
