Title: 85 CP 16 in Colorado with bowsprit questions
Post by: xuno_gil on August 05, 2017, 07:58:21 PM
Hello again all.

So I have attached some pictures of how the bowsprit was set up when I purchased the boat. I want to return it so a functional piece.
I would like to have my anchor attached and rope rolling on the roller off the end of the bowsprit and bring the forestay up there as well (note where it is now). I feel that my bobstay is too long and that if I attached the forestay to the clip that currently resides at the bowsprit that it would not stay in place.

I also wonder if my current forestay should be able to reach the bowsprit by just turning the turnbuckle or if you all think I will need a longer one?
