Title: Winter Sail?
Post by: K3v1n on January 04, 2007, 08:37:27 PM
So...anyone up here in the northeast thinking about going sailing this Saturday. They are calling for temps to be near 70. Seriously thinking about taking Floridaze down to the ramp for a dip and a New Year's sail.

Sounds great, I wish we were getting temps like that here in Minnesota.  We have been unseasonably warm but not quite that warm! I hope you are able to go.

Well...decided against it, a little more involved to get out then I wanted to get into so everything will stay wrapped up on the 16, but on the 19... I think I'll tackle cleaning up the teak and fixing that busted bobstay and there is always the hull to scrap...yippy!

Weather update

Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers this morning. Then mostly sunny this afternoon. Highs in the mid to upper 60s. Southwest winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph. Chance of rain 50 percent.

I guess I'll be watching football today instead. :(

Hey, Kev-o, I finally made to this site. Thanks for the tip. Even though we didn't sail on Sat, just the thought was good. Talk to you soon, Bob
